Lacrosse

Once again I want to thank everyone that has donated. I also just found out that I am eligible to play lacrosse in a French men's league with the Lille Spartiates. The team plays in a league with French, Belgian and Dutch teams and travels all over Europe for tournaments.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to my AFS account. I am so excited to be going to France this summer. I have just recently learned that I will be staying in Mons en Baroel, a suburb of the city Lille. My family has four children and I will be the little brother to their youngest daughter. It is supposed to be a great city and I am very excited to be living there. It is on the Belgian border and reportedly has great food.

France Visit

Hello, my name is Lucas Judson and I am from Dedham, Massachusetts. I am a sophomore at BCDS. As a sophomore, I try to stay as active as possible by playing soccer and lacrosse, as well as being in the winter improvisational theatre play, and I am also a member of the Model UN club here at Beaver.

I recently applied and was accepted into AFS: France for next school year. This means that I will spend next year living in France with a host family, attending French school, speaking French and even eating French food, and I hope to bring back as much as I can from this visit and gain as much knowledge as possible.

Hopefully I will be able to raise enough money for this trip. My goal right now is $4,000 to help cover the costs of a year abroad, and I am looking for people to help fund this amazing trip. This summer, I will be working to help pay but any contributions are greatly appreciated. No amount is too small, and every donation helps.
